We recognize that our operations have an effect on the local, regional and global environment. Our overall objective is to carry out our operations in a way which manages and minimizes any adverse environmental impact.

As a consequence of this, the management team is committed to continuous improvements in environmental performance and the prevention of pollution. QC Data is committed to providing adequate physical and financial resources to ensure the realization of the Environmental policy.

Environmental regulations, laws and codes of practice will be regarded as setting the minimum standards of environmental performance.

Provision of adequate and appropriate resources will be made to implement this policy and will ensure that it is properly communicated and understood also suitable and sufficient environmental information, instruction and training will be provided to enable all staff to carry out their jobs competently.

We will select and monitor third parties to ensure appropriate standards of environmental management are achieved. On client’s sites we will work together to ensure that we meet their requirements as well as our own.

Environmental management is everyone’s responsibility, and a prime responsibility of all levels of management, everyone should be expected to contribute to achieving our overall objective. Ian Wainwright, Managing Director UK & Ireland, has ultimate responsibility for the formulation, implementation and monitoring of the policy. He is supported in this by the Health and Safety Manager.

Our aim is to encourage initiative and adopt best practice in a culture where employees and managers are aware of their individual responsibilities for the environment and actively engaged and committed to improving standards of environmental management.

Environmental issues will be an agenda item of all quarterly management meetings in order to ensure uniform understanding across all company locations, provide opportunities for Environmental procedures to contribute towards improving business performance and allow establishment and reviewing of realistic Environmental annual targets.

Regular reviews, at intervals of not more than two years will be made of our policy to ensure its continuing suitability, adequacy and effectiveness.
