Environment

QC Data UK Limited recognises that our operations have an effect on the local, regional and global environment. Our overall objective, through effective management, is to carry out our operations in a way which is efficient and environmentally sustainable.

As a consequence of this, the management team is committed to improvements in environmental performance and the prevention of pollution. QC Data provides adequate physical and financial resources to ensure the realisation of the Environmental Policy. We ensure that our policy is properly communicated and understood and that suitable and sufficient environmental information, instruction and training are provided to enable all staff to carry out their jobs competently.

QC Data adheres to applicable legislative and regulatory requirements and encourages and enforces these as a minimum expected standard of environmental performance.

We select and monitor our external providers to ensure appropriate standards of environmental management are achieved.  On clients’ sites we work to ensure that we meet their requirements as well as our own.

Environmental management is everyone’s responsibility, and a prime responsibility of all levels of management, everyone is expected to contribute to achieving our overall objective. Michael Pfeiffer, CEO, has ultimate responsibility for the formulation, implementation and monitoring of the policy. He is supported in this by the Health Safety and Environment Manager.

Environmental management is an agenda item of all management meetings in order to ensure uniform understanding across all company locations, provide opportunities for Environmental procedures to contribute towards improving business performance and allow the establishment and reviewing of realistic Environmental annual targets. QC Data will consult on Environmental matters through various means including regular staff site meetings.

Our aim is to encourage initiative and adopt best practice in a culture where employees and managers are aware of their individual responsibilities for the environment and are actively engaged and committed to improving standards of environmental management.

Regular reviews, at intervals of not more than two years will be made of this policy to ensure its continuing suitability, adequacy and effectiveness.
