Michael Pfeiffer – President and CEO

Mike Pfeiffer is in his 17th year leading the QC Data group of companies. Since taking office as President and CEO in 1993, he has guided the company through significant expansion and continual refinement into its current position as a leading international solutions provider to some of the world’s largest telecommunications companies, utilities and other infrastructure based organizations.

Mr. Pfeiffer brings over 30 years experience in management, operations and engineering to QC Data. That experience was built from the ground up. Beginning in 1975 he joined Hughes Aircraft Co. as an electrical engineer following his graduation from the University of Illinois. In addition to his degree in Electrical Engineering, Mr. Pfeiffer also holds an MBA and has completed executive education programs at the University of Southern California and Stanford University.

In 1990, Mr. Pfeiffer was appointed President and CEO of Hughes Canada; a role that placed him among Calgary’s top business and community leaders. This would later draw him to his current position with QC Data. Mr. Pfeiffer also serves on various boards and educational advisory committees.

Glen Helin – Senior Vice President

Glen Helin has been with QC Data since 1990 and is responsible for technical services and contracts worldwide. Mr. Helin has served in a number of key management roles in operations and business services.

Mr. Helin offers the QC Data management team more than 25 years of extensive experience in all areas of the data management industry, complemented by his B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Northern Colorado and MBA Studies with an emphasis in Operations & Production Management.

Doug Stanford – Vice President

Mr. Stanford currently has responsibility for QC Data’s Implementation and Support Services inNorth America.  This includes our data services and our engineering services lines of business.  He provides direct management for new client initiatives and support for current programs and business development opportunities.  He has over 16 years of international experience with multiple telecommunications and utility organizations including several years in which he managed programs for QC Data in the UK.  Mr. Stanford is a graduate of the Unites States Naval Academy with a Masters degree from the University of Virginia.

Jim Pittman – Director, Technical Services

Mr. Pittman has over 30 years of experience in the Geospatial Technology industry.  He is responsible for all technology and security related services within QC Data’s North American operations in the United States and Canada.  His experience provides an outstanding blend of skills and experience including software design, Geospatial technology, CAD, project management, operational processes and executive management.  He communicates with both QC Data staff and clients regularly on project status and resolution of problems.

Mr. Pittman is a highly successful leader in building teams, implementing efficient operations processes and creating customer satisfaction.  As a subject matter expert and software architect, Mr. Pittman’s insight and experience with successful implementations of Geospatial Technology and CAD are unmatched.

Trent Meyers – Business Unit Manager

Mr.  Meyers  has 26 years of industry experience working in all aspects of GIS Project Implementations for utility, telecommunications and space management companies. He is responsible for overall management of specific programs in QC Data’s Denver Operations Center.  Mr. Meyers provides strategic management for current programs, support for business development activities, revenue/profit responsibility for customer business units and consultation for new client initiatives.  He works closely with Technical Services and Project Implementation experts to provide pre-sales consultuing to perspective clients as implementation of awarded projects.  Mr. Meyers plays a key role in our customer relationships, communicating  with both QC Data staff and clients regularly regarding overall project performance.

Cindy Phillips – Business Unit Manager

Since joining QC Data in 2001, Mrs. Phillips has served in various roles such as managing Engineering projects; Data related projects as well as Business Development.  She is currently responsible for the overall operation in Charlotte, North Carolina and a major Data related project.

James Kauffman – Senior Program Support Manager

Mr. Kauffman is responsible for overall implementation management of assigned programs. This includes process review and subsequent development and streamlining of project methodologies and operating procedures. Mr. Kauffman is responsible for the creation and maintenance of all master process charts and maintains direct contact with QC Data management and start-up staff during the implementation stage. He performs continual project analysis and problem resolution. Mr. Kauffman coordinates project resource allocation, hardware/software requirements, user documentation, and training. He performs monitoring of quality in data delivery according to specified acceptance criteria.

Ian Wainwright – Managing Director UK and Ireland        

Mr. Wainwright joined the company in 2002 and is the Managing Director, of QC Data UK Ltd, and QC Data (Ireland) Ltd; the European businesses of QC Data International inc., providing information management services to major asset infrastructure companies.

Previously a Non-Executive Director of a Montreal based multinational software company,  Mr. Wainwright provides industry experience to the company to assist in the strategic product development of Real Time Network Operations Management, and Work Force Management software for the Utilities and Public Safety industry. Mr. Wainwright brings solid industry experience in Electricity, Telecommunications and Gas distribution networks. His technical background is complemented by 15 years of Board level experience. Mr. Wainwright also currently acts as a volunteer adviser for Business in the Arts, which is an initiative to provide arts organizations with commercial independence and support, and is a Director and Trustee of Disability Arts in Shropshire ( DASh ).

John Wright – Account Manager

John is the Account Manager for QC Data’s contract with Northern Powergrid to provide Data Management Services for their operations to distribute electricity to homes and businesses in the North East of England. He works closely with the client to ensure contract objectives are achieved as well as looking at new and future needs.

John provides strategic management for current programs, support for business development activities, profit/loss for customer business units and consultation for new client initiatives.   He is responsible for operations budgeting, profit and loss, and management of production programs currently in progress.  He communicates with both QC Data staff and clients regularly on project status and problem resolution.

Paul Lowe – Implementation and Technical Services Manager

Paul is responsible for the implementation of new projects across each of QC Data’s market sectors. Following contractual agreement, Paul will work with the client, our operational and technical services teams to finalize project planning, process design, workflow management and establish the most appropriate technical infrastructure. He is also responsible for staff recruitment, induction and training. Paul is also responsible for the management of QC Data’s UK and Irish technical services team. Key elements of this aspect of his role include providing technical advice to the business, development of technical strategy and policy and the co-ordination of the technical services team to ensure timely delivery of the hard and software requirements of each of QC Data’s accounts. Paul began his career in data management working in the electricity industry and has amassed 16 years of operational experience.

Janet Le Beau – Director Utilities Business         

Janet Le Beau is responsible for overall management of the Electricity and Water businesses in the United Kingdom for QC Data , with a large focus on UKPN’s Distribution Network, records management.

Currently, Janet is responsible for budget creation, schedule development, performance reporting, resource allocation, planning and acquisition and team development. She communicates with clients regularly on project status and resolution of problems. Further, Janet provides direct support to the Managing Director of UK & Ireland Operations on production and operational issues.

 Jim Healy – General Manager – Ireland/Safety Health Environment

Mr. Healy is currently responsible for the overall management of QC Data’s production facility in Cork, Ireland.  Mr. Healy is responsible for budget creation, schedule development, performance reporting, resource allocation, planning and acquisition, and team development.  He communicates with clients regularly on project status and problem resolutions.  Mr. Healy provides direct support to the Director of Operations, UK & Ireland on production and operational issues. Furthermore Mr. Healy is responsible for Safety, Health and Environmental management in the UK and Ireland, carrying out site audits, developing targets and maintaining a suite of policies.
