At the heart of QC Data’s business is a commitment to continuous improvement leading to increased value for our clients and the development of our employees. Governed by the International Standards Organization (ISO), ISO 9001:2008 is a formally accredited Quality Management System that has a strong focus on continual improvement, as well as strict compliance with law and Health and Safety legislation. QC Data is ISO certified to this standard in the United Kingdom and Ireland, and although we do not carry ISO certification in North America, our processes follow ISO doctrine for all phases of work.

From this endorsement, QC Data UK Limited received accreditation to the newer ISO 9001:2000 standard effective October 2004, and both companies to the recently introduced 9001:2008 standard September 1, 2009.
Health & Safety Policy Statement (UK & Ireland)
QC Data recognises and accepts its duty to ensure, as far as is reasonably practicable, the health, safety and welfare of all employees, contractors and visitors. QC Data will seek to minimise the number of occupational accidents and near-misses or incidents which may occur as a result of the company’s operations and to ensure that employees are encouraged and supported where practicable in maintaining and improving their health. QC Data is committed to providing adequate physical and financial resources to ensure the realisation of the Safety, Health and Environmental policy.
Creating and maintaining a safe and secure environment requires all employees to understand the key sources of potential hazards and to behave in a responsible and considerate manner in relation to their own welfare and that of others.
General health and safety awareness will form part of the induction of all employees. Additional instruction will be given to those who as part of their job are exposed to potentially hazardous environments. Risk assessments on all work areas will be undertaken and revised on a regular basis.
All employees will be made aware of the importance of the timely reporting of accidents and potential hazards. Our main objective in the review period of this document is to improve the ratio of near miss/incident reports to accidents.
The monitoring of accidents and the development and sharing of good practice on health and safety issues will form part of the remit of the Health and Safety Manager and Local Health and Safety Officers.
The company will ensure that adequate numbers of employees are trained in first aid, fire marshalling and in conducting health and safety assessments. Managers throughout QC Data have responsibility for health and safety in their area of operation. The Managing Director of UK & Ireland has ultimate responsibility for the formulation, implementation and monitoring of the policy and is further supported in this by the Health and Safety Manager.
The practical operation of this policy statement is supported by the Health and Safety policy and the detailed individual policies. The Health and Safety Manager is available as a central source of advice and guidance to management and employees in the development and implementation of good practice on health and safety issues.
This policy document and the detailed individual policies will be available to all employees within QC Data and will be reviewed as circumstances change and in any event within 2 years.
